Hope for Humanity Group  

Our mission statement:
To educate, help and fundraise for human rights to make a positive change in our communities.


The Hope 4 Humanity group recently organised a trip to Branches.  Here are some of the questions which the group posed to volunteers and the service users themselves.

Questions for Branches:

  1. Why are so many people homeless in the UK?

  1. How have Branches helped you?

  1. What services do Branches provide?

  1. What were your first impressions of Branches?

  1. How do you hope Branches will help you?

  1. What facilities does Branches provide? – own room? Computers? Kitchen?

  1. Where do you eat? Can you cook for yourself?

  1. We heard you only have 18 months at the facility? Do you think this is a good thing? Do you feel pressure because of this date?

  1. Do you have any targets you want to achieve before you leave?

  1. Does anything change as you progress through the 18 months?

  1. What do you think the public’s biggest misconception about homelessness is?

  1. What should people know about the issue?

  1. Do men and women experience homelessness differently? How?

  1. How does it feel to homeless?

  1. Do you know what Branches are doing for xmas?

  1. Does Branches help with education, employment and training?
