Shell - Tomorrow’s Engineers workshop 

On Monday 16 December 2019 , Year 9 sets 9a1, 9b1 and 9c1 took part in a STEM activity by Shell which was led by ‘Tomorrow’s engineers- Learn by Design’.

• All students worked extremely well in groups to discuss the need for changing our energy resources from non-renewable to renewable sources and discussed the role of engineers within these field. 
  
• They then went on to design an electric car in their groups and raced it down a 10 metre track, making improvements each time as they did a race so that they could go further in the next run. 
  
• They worked really well as a team and got really involved, so a big well done to them all!
