LGBTQ+ History Month -  February 2022

February is LGBTQ+ History Month. A time dedicated to showing understanding, empathy and respect to people who are not only part of our school and wider communities but also an appreciation of all of the wonderful contributions  LGBTQ+ people have made to our society.  From anti Nazi code breakers to outstanding artistry, it is essential to highlight this month as an opportunity to learn more about the continuing social injustices which LGBTQ+ people go through on a daily basis.

WHOLE SCHOOL SOCIAL JUSTICE COLLECTION:

We are concerned with the link between ignorance to bullying and its impact on the mental health of students from a range of different backgrounds and identities. Respecting difference is essential to maintaining a supportive community for all of us. We must all  therefore engage in the ongoing process of challenging inequality.
