Hello Yellow Mental Health Campaign: 15 -19 November 2021

Dear Students,


We want you to know that we are proud of you and that you can reach out for help if you need to.


Mental Health should not be a stigma, it is something which we all strive for as an important part of our overall wellbeing.

Thank you so much for supporting us in celebrating Hello Yellow (Young Minds Charity) for the third year running by having these important conversations and looking out for others. Please see the PowerPoint below for more information on how you can continue this process.

Odd Socks Day for Anti Bullying Week - November 19 2021

On Friday November 19 2021 Highams Park school students came together to celebrate #oddsocksday as part of National anti-bullying week 2021. The idea behind the concept is to celebrate uniqueness, and to visually reinforce the statement that everybody is important regardless of what they look like.
This event coincided with the school’s successful #HelloYellow Mental Health days on  15-19 November 2021 which formed part of a series of initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of students (and staff) within the school.


Highams Park Principal Mr Grundy' has provided this message of support : “It is great to see students and staff collectively get behind such an important cause. We at Highams Park are determined to work together to improve the well being of all students. Events like these help to reinforce our whole school values of respect, responsibility and resilience. I would like to personally thank everyone who is supporting the campaign.”
