Odd Socks Day for National Anti Bullying Week - Thursday 17 November 2022

On Thursday 17 November 2022 Highams Park school students came together to celebrate #oddsocksday as part of National anti-bullying week 2022. The idea behind the concept is to celebrate uniqueness, and to visually reinforce the statement that everybody is important regardless of what they look like.


This event coincided with the school’s successful #HelloYellow Mental Health days 14- 18 November 2022 which form part of a series of initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of students (and staff) within the school.


Highams Park Principal Mr Grundy said, “It is great to see students and staff collectively once again to support such an important cause. We are proud to mark events like this which serve to remind us of the value of being kind, respectful and looking out for each other during our times of need. I would like to personally thank everyone for supporting the day and encourage us all to prioritise these values all year through.”
