Wear Red Day for Anti Racism - Friday 21 October 2022
On Friday 21 October, we participated in ‘Wear Red Day 22’. The idea is to show racism the red card and to symbolise this by wearing something red.
Staff were encouraged to engage in conversation throughout the day about the importance of anti-racism, showing respect to all members of our school community and embracing our differences.
Years 7-11 had specially customised stickers to wear throughout the day which said: ‘Highams Park School says no to racism’ and ‘#ShowRacismTheRedCard’.
Year 12 and 13 were a vision in their red clothes.
Well done to all staff and students who engaged, supported and participated today
