Enter your Earthshot

Entries to the Earthshot prize are now open!

To enter your Earthshot you should make a start on whatever your idea is. Talk to other students, staff, parents etc... and come up with a plan for what you want to achieve.

To share your ideas, please produce a collection of Firefly pages, created in your Firefly Personal Pages.  How do I create Firefly pages? >

To let us know about your Earthshot idea and officially enter the competition, please complete the form below.

The best entries will include:

  • Detailed information on your idea.
  • Images and diagrams as appropriate.
  • A short video (max 5 min) introducing your Earthshot.
  • An outline of the cost of your idea and how you would use the prize amount (TBC - we hope around £200) to make it happen.
  • Evidence of your research including links to websites or details of other sources you have used.
  • Evidence of your discussions and engagement with staff in school and others (students, outside organisations...) who would be involved in decisions to make your idea happen. Eg if you are going to suggest something to do with the canteen, you need to have discussed it with Julie.

Complete this form below and start creating your Earthshot pages now! You then have time carry on developing your idea and improving your pages until the deadline in the summer term (exact date TBC).
