We have had another glorius cooking experience in Highams Park School.
We started by making shortbread fingers ready just in time for break. We then made garlic bread and the famous Grand Trunk Road restaurant's Butter chicken curry.
Chef Julie produced delicious microwaved poppadoms - so much healthier than fried ones, pilaf rice and to cool us down cucumber raita. It was delicious many staff tucked in too, myself included as I made a cauliflower and green bean version for Kamil in year 8 who is also vegetarian. Ms Bean and Dr Morris even took a takeaway bag of the curry as they enjoyed it so much.
The students were great again and a special mention goes to Shabanna for helping to wash and dry up and carry the food to the canteen. What star chefs we have at HP! Well done to all involved.
