Ginger biscuits, cinnamon biscuits and a whole lot of water! Tuesday 02 June 2020

“Today’s cooking experience was nearly a bit of a disaster as the electricity stopped working at some point and one of our freezers and fridges completely defrosted.  This meant that the ingredients I had planned to use had to be thrown away and I spent many hours cleaning up all the equipment and water everywhere! I looked liked a drowned rat  as I realised on walking home that my legs were splattered in strawberry juices! 

 So we did the best we could with what we had and made ginger biscuits and cinnamon biscuits and decorated them.  The students really enjoyed it and it and it was lovely having Mrs Darke to help them.”
