YEAR SEVEN READING LIST

Reading is not only an enjoyable way to relax, it will help you in all your curriculum areas. Every subject you take next year will have an element of reading involved and when you reach your GCSE’s, reading is an integral part. As such, it is good to get into the habit of always having a book on the go! 

The following booklet gives you some ideas of books you may appreciate. These have been enjoyed by the current year 7 students, so take a look, pick one you like the sound of, and get reading! 

You can tell your tutor group about the books you have read over the summer when we start school in September.

The books in this list have all been recommended by many students – read the synopses and the comments to decide which ones you would like to read.
