Year 8 Boys Football Team 2018-19

After a roller coaster of a season the Year 8s finished as Runners up to Chingford in the Waltham Forest Cup Final.

The team showed that they are prepared to work hard for each other and will always keep running until the final whistle. There have been many outstanding performances, too many to mention here, but I would like to highlight a couple. Oliver Boulton in defence has tackled and marked and run brilliantly throughtout the season and has made Kaya's job in goal much easier. Vinnie in midefield has grown and now dominates the space in front of the back four. We then have Paddy who scares opposotions with his pace and power and all of these ably led by Chamario. Paddy was the top scorer for our team, scoring 10 goals over this season.

A highlight of the season was beating Holyfamily 5-3 in the semi-final with Chingford the only team that we did not beat. Having fallen at the final hurdle the team are already looking forward to going one step futher next year.
