Recital Evening 14 November 19

On Thursday 14th November our GCSE,  A-Level and instrumental music students had the opportunity to take the stage as soloists and demonstrate their performance skills at this year's Music Recital Evening.  The captivated audience were treated to an eclectic programme ranging in styles from Jacob Payne's piano performance of Debussy's Voiles to Nandi Robinson's pure vocal execution of Kate Bush's This Woman's Work, Frank Marsden's funky Syncopation Rag for flute by James Rae to Tony Ma's lively rock guitar rendition of The Pretender by the Foo Fighters, and Kira Monk's emotionally charged I Dreamed a Dream to Nazar Marasioglu's rhythmic Saz performance of Ceke Ceke to name a few.  The students from all year groups enjoyed the chance to watch and hear each other play and students and audience alike found the evening truly inspiring. Well done to all who took part!
