Activities week on Firefly (Staff info)

Please help us promote and celebrate Activities Week by adding photos of the activities you lead or support to the appropriate Firefly page.

If you are tweeting from a school account, mention @HighamsParkSch and use hashtag #ActivitiesWeek

Please note: Pupils should NOT be encouraged to take photos during Activities Week, but to live the experience instead!

If using an Android phone first install the Firefox browser and use this to access Firefly. Instructions below will NOT work in Chrome browser. iOS works fine.

  1. Find the page you want to add a photo to. For example tap the button for your activity from the main Activities week page. Tap the create button bottom left to create a new page if needed.
  2. Tap Edit Page bottom right.
  3. Choose Gallery from the menu bar top left to add a new gallery (above any galleries from previous years). Or tap the cog top right of an existing 2018 gallery and go to 5.
  4. Choose Slideshow.
  5. Tap Select Files From Your Computer.
  6. Tap Photo Library (iOS) or File list (most Android OS).

  • If File name already exists appears, choose Keep Both (otherwise you will delete someone else's photo).

  1. Tap Done bottom left.

  2. If you have created a new gallery, give it a heading eg “2018 ...”.
  3. Tap Done top right.
  4. If the photo contains students DELETE the photo from your phone for Child Protection reasons.
