Highams Park School - Show Contract - Grease February 2023

By committing to taking part in the whole school production of Grease, you will need to agree to the following expectations, without exception:

• Show dates: Evening performances on Wednesday 8th - Friday 10th February 2023. Exact times tbc.
• Give 100%. Your effort & behaviour, every rehearsal, must be exemplary. Be courteous to performers when you are not involved in a scene. Do not cause any disturbances during rehearsals. THIS INCLUDES A CONTINUATION OF THE SCHOOL BAN ON MOBILE PHONES DURING REHEARSAL TIME.
• Do Your Homework. Academic work must be your major focus.
• Be on Time for All Rehearsals. Arrive 5-10 minutes before the rehearsal is scheduled to begin. All after school rehearsals start at 3.15pm PROMPT and finish at 4.30pm, unless otherwise stated. Rehearsal days are Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
• Skip or No Show. Missing any rehearsal without informing the teacher ahead of time will be counted as a ‘no show’. Please inform us or the Attendance Office by 8:30 of the morning of the absence. Three ‘no shows’ will result in you being replaced.
• Bring Materials to Rehearsals. You are in charge of your script. You must bring this to every rehearsal. If you lose your script you must replace it at your own cost.
• Listen and Watch. Staff are giving up much of their own time, for free, to make this show happen. You must listen every time you are asked to pay attention. Do not talk over the staff and please do not bring food to rehearsals (drinks are permitted).
