Year 7 Residential Visit to Brenscombe
Activities and Enrichment Week, 14th to 18th July 2025
In 2025 Year 7 students have the opportunity to visit the amazing Brenscombe Outdoor Activity Centre on the Dorset Coast to experience a fantastic variety of outdoor activities including climbing, sailing, archery, orienteering, abseiling, bush craft and much more! In 2024 we took 60 students who had an awesome time, and when we surveyed them to ask if they would recommened it to the next Year 7 they all said yes!

Come and speak to Mr Palmer (in the Year 7 lunch area in the dance studio at lunch) if you have any questions. Mr Palmer has organised the Year 7 residential for over 10 years, so any questions, big or small, he can answer.
What happens next?
Your parents will be sent a letter explaining how to make a register your interest in the trip. They have to make a deposit to confirm a place and can pay for the trip in installments between now and April 2025.
In June 2025 there will be a short meeting for students and you will get a form to complete to help us put you in a room and a group with your friends. That may seem a long time away now, but we know you will continue to make friends over the year!
Two weeks before we go we will hold a parents' meeting to let you know what you need to bring, what activities we will be doing and what the travel arrangements are.

Accommodation
Dorm rooms with double bunk beds in each sleeping either 4 or 6. There is a shower block across the courtyard.
Breakfast and Dinner are served in the main dining hall, and each day you will have a packed lunch provided for you.
