ORBYTS 2017 Graduation Ceremony

On Monday 10 July 2017 our latest crop of ORBYTS students graduated from the program, after successfully completing their work on the energy levels of hydrogen sulfide and zirconium oxide.

As part of the graduation ceremony the students gave presentations on their work and also heard about the engineering behind the upcoming Twinkle Space mission. This satellite will analyse the light from distant stars known to have exo-planets orbiting them and the students' work will provide some of the data needed to identify the gases present in these exo-planet atmospheres.

Congratulations to all involved and we look forward to the work being published.
