ORBYTS

A level physics students at Highams Park have the opportunity to take part in ORBYTS (Original Research By Young Twinkle Students). They work with PhD and post-doc scientists from UCL on original physics research and work towards publication in a peer-reviewed journal.

So far an astonishing 61 Highams Park 6th Form students have been published as named as co-authors of 6 academic papers (one not currently available as open access):
