Year 12 Media students visit Eastenders set 30 June 19

Year 12 Media students Afiya Harper and Annie Apakoh were given a personal guided tour of The Eastenders set at BBC studios Elstree on Sunday 30th June.

The girls were given an opportunity to see all aspects of the production process by Simon Naylor whose daughter attended Highams Park school. Simon has run Media Studies sessions in school regarding ‘page to screen ‘processes before.

This really was a fascinating and unique opportunity as the BBC do not run tours for visitors. Annie and Afiya are pictured above in the Queen Vic, in the cafe and on the outside set. Both are considering studying Media Studies at University.
